Goulash - Aberdeen - Photo album

Good food if not exciting. Everything was well prepared. I do think that I got fries instead of the expected potatoes as an error. You must walk down an alley that was full of sketchy looking people when we were arriving. The restaurant is plain. Our waiter was very sweet but some minimal English.
Lovely little place, decorated like someone’s living room. The food is amazing. The host and his wife who’s cooks the food were friendly and service was top notch. All of us agreed that the food was delicious. We had the village welcome for starters to share. Gipsy steak, chicken steak, the pork and
Comfort food and friendly service! Walked in relatively early on a Thursday and the place was unfortunately empty apart from me but from messages around the place I get the impression it can be quite lively. Food-wise, it's important to understand that Goulash is very much comfort food with good u
What a true gem this place is! It's like you are time travelling to Hungary in the 1980s. Everything is original vintage and I would not want to have it any different. The food was so good - deep fried meatballs with blueberry jam and the beef goulash. Service friendly and welcoming. Perfect food f
Nice Hungarian food! The price is ok and the portion is quite large. We went for lunch and the price is a bit lower than the dinner. Goulash is flavorful, and the gherkins salad is very tasty, they make a good combo.
Wonderful family owned establishment. Owner gave a wonderful recommendation to go along with my father and I’s goulash. Quick service and delightful food. Very secluded location but do not be afraid the service was very friendly and fast!
Absolutely wonderful little restaurant serving authentic homemade hungarian food. Delicious meals. We have tried almost the whole menu and ecery dish is 10/10. Our personal favourites are the mustard chicken, and traditional goulash, and or the trappista cheese. For desert we love the strawberry jam
Absolutely amazing Gem in Aberdeen. Ate there twice in a row during our stay. Everything we got was delicious including Meatballs, Chicken pancake, Hungarian Coffee and of course the goulash. This is a must try with it’s home like, cozy atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.
Very wholesome, tasty and authentic Hungarian food in a restaurant just hidden away from a major street in Aberdeen.
Went for a late lunch on Saturday so was happy that they were still serving lunch at 3pm. Very welcoming staff and atmosphere, with classical music in the background. Place was clean but, although it wasn't busy, I was surprised that staff were not wearing masks. Main dishes were at £13.95 and the p
Great food, tasty and normal size. Quick and good service. Proper hungarian restaurant, highly recommended.
Fresh, homemade and lovely Hungarian flavours, characterful food. Comfortable setting. will return
I went here with a few friends during a recent trip to Aberdeen. We all loved the place. I think we were served by the owner, who was very welcoming and offered fantastic service. The food was delicious and very good value. I would have gone back again if it hadn't been my last night in Aberdeen. It
Amazing food, great service and nice atmosphere. We walked in and for my partner it was like going back home. The dinning area has its charm with traditional items. The people working there are so welcome and the food felt like home-cooked. The gypsy stake and the goulash with traditional pasta left
Absolutely fantastic! Possibly the only Hungarian restaurant in Scotland. The main reason why I keep travelling to Aberdeen from Glasgow every now and then!
Lovely Hungarian restaurant hidden near the main Street in Aberdeen. They serve excellent authentic Hungarian food.
Was a bit nervous on arrival as the restaurant was empty (it is tucked away in a back street). That said, service was good but the food was outstanding. Of course, i had the goulash and it did not disappoint at all. Also tried the chicken paprikash which was also exceptional.
Generous portions, schnitzel was wonderfully crispy, beef goulash hearty and the homemade pasta delicious. Good food, good value, nice ambiance.
