Caffi Traeth Aberdaron - Aberdaron - Photo album

Very cool beach at the far end of the Llyn Peninsula. Some facilities and good little places to eat. We only visited briefly at the south-west end of the beach. There's no easy path to go along further. Good views. Slightly awkward to get there: about 30 minutes from Pwllheli; left towards Caernavon
Aberdaron was the find of my holiday. Yes it's remoteness means you are driving down narrow twisty lanes but boy is it worth it. The place is a gem, I was totally blown away with how beautiful it was, think I left my heart there. Views of Bardsey Islands from the beach. Had dinner at Hen Blas Cra
Great sandy beach for swimming. Very accessible. Short walk from NT car park or disabled parking at entrance next to the church. Lots of amenities nearby. Unusual view of church from the Sea.
Good parking, and reasonable price. On a better weather day it would be an excellent place to relax on the beach and do some body boarding. Plenty of little shops, cafes and ice cream places. Lovely little church. Shame it was blowing 60mph when we went for a look.
Similar to the beaches in Devon and Cornwall. The inland scenery even looks like the West Country, but with the added bonus of mountains and Snowdonia just up the road. The beach felt like being at the land's end of Wales.
Much nicer than Abersoch (but don't let anyone know😷), you can park the car and get a seat in a cafe and there are two public toilets! The beach is excellent and lots of outdoor activities can be undertaken in the area, there's a NT visitors centre ad well. Under consideration for a whole weekend.
On a cloudy day the beach was quiet. An occasional dog walker. Loved the sea air and long walk. #lovellyn #loveabadaron #pilgrimsway Pity about selfish dog owners on wrong side on the beach. Clear signs telling dog owners which side to use. Also not cleaning up after their dog is unacceptable. Spoil
Very reasonable £5 all day parking. Clear water for good swimming. Excellent rock stacking and some sandy beach.
Fabulous beach in a totally unspoilt Welsh town.. Definitely worth a visit.. Pop into the Welsh bakery up the road for lunch for amazing pastries and cakes
A lovely beach, can be quite small at high tide, but plenty of space otherwise, middle beach Infront of the shops doesn't allow dogs, but this is a relatively small amount of the beach overall. Watch for the signs. Pub and bakery cafe are.do friendly. Bakery is awesome. Give it a go! Enjoy.
