We booked a table for 6 adults and two infants on a bank holiday Sunday, at 6.30pm. We were late arriving.... The walk from the campsite took longer than anticipated?!
No problem! Exemplary service, excellent food.

Lovely bar and restaurant. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, even though they were really busy.
A good selection of Thatchers cider is available from the bar.
I enjoyed my stay at the ship hotel, Aberdaron Gwynedd, close to the beach and amenities. The staff where friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, I had the vegetarian option. The restaurant was closed while I was there, which was disappointing but saying that there where plenty of other eateries nearby. There is a nice bar area with well kept beer's. I found the room clean and comfortable, the bed was great and I had a lovely nights sleep. The bathroom was clean and the shower was brilliant. Would recommend and thanks to all the hard working staff.

Try and get room 6 if you can, the view is gorgeous! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was good, in particular the catch of the day (haddock) was superb. Lovely bar to sit inside, and also quite a few tables outside for a sunny day. Reasonably priced. There is no car park directly attached, but you are given a free pass for the NT car park 2 mins walk away. The beach is also just over the road, and wow what a beach!!
An earthy pint, perfect beer battered cod, crunchy chips and a tasty tartare sauce all served within yards of the most beautiful dusky beach. Say no more.

Had an excellent dinner here, great food despite service that veered from chaotic to indifferent. Excellent local beer. All six main course dishes our party had were really very good, puddings also generally excellent though some of the ice-cream seemed like it could have been better looked after
Angie behind the bar is the star of the show. Cracking food served and dog friendly as well.
Had the two best meals of the trip at this pub, Staff fantastic locals so friendly, I really felt like I was welcome here. wife also loved it, got a real old world pub feel, and the food was just as warm as the welcome. well done all, I so look forward to coming again. Please dont change.
Always have a couple of beers in the ship when in the Village. Food is very good highly recommend.

I ate in the restaurant twice this week as staying nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Good, well cooked and flavoursome food with good service. Very busy at times.

We planned a surprise birthday party at the Ship, Aberdaron. The owner, Alun, was very helpful and accommodating. The party was a great success. I couldn't fault the food, drink or atmosphere. We all had a great time and were made to feel very welcome. Thank you.
We stayed at The Ship for the weekend and had an amazing time. The rooms were great and the location was perfect, right by the beach.
Breakfast and dinner were excellent (special recommendation for the Welsh Lamb saddle) and the atmosphere in the bar was warm and friendly.
Alun and his team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. We will definitely be back!
