Pretty much my go to chippy, phone your order in and the fish is cooked fresh in time to collect.
Always good quality, great prices, especially if they have a special on. Large fish and chips for 6 quid, bargain!
Staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Such a warm and friendly place, they have always treated us like family, and the food is absolutely delicious. I am so grateful for everything they do for us, for the price it’s an absolute bargain! Highly recommended !
The chips were awesome. Best Chip shop in and around Aberdare.
Doesn't appear the most hygienic of places, however meal was good and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly.. fish freshly cooked. The fish didn't taste like cod,but more like whiting??
Just had a brilliant meal at Mamma’s place. Food is amazing, perfect lunch time stop for me and the lads whilst nearby. Will surely save location for future ref, and look forward to eating here again next time I’m in town! Friendly staff & great service. Thank you
Had to wait a long time for the order but then it arrived (Cod&chips, Choc chop waffle) the phone chips and fish were fresh and hot. Batter was very light and not at all greasy. The waffle and ice cream was stunning and a good portion.
Would have given 5*, but owing lengthy wait for delivery, 4*. But, excellent food.
We had no complaints. Our fish, chips, fishcake and sausage, (to take away), were cooked in front of us and tasted delicious afterwards. We will definitely call again.

Lovely fresh chips, crispy batter as ordered.. 20 mins from ordering to delivery.. my dogs loved their jumbo sausages.. as if they wouldn't!
After losing faith in the fish shops in Aberdare due to poor food and worse service... It is awesome to find a decent fish and chip shop.
Properly cooked fish and lovely thick chips ... the other chippy can learn from the Hot Pot 👍👍
