I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Nags Head while spending a weekend in Cardigan, and I must say, the experience was truly amazing. The venue itself is a gem, and the outdoor seating area by the water is simply stunning. It creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal.

Booked a table for two here while staying a few days near bye. Absolute gem of a place. Beautiful inside and outside. Food was incredible. For starters we had the nachos and they were amazing. Steak was fresh and well cooked. It was a little pricey but I have no issue with that as the food is locall

A beautiful place with rooms that were better than the pictures suggested and lovely friendly people.
We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.

Staying in some nearby cottages, we wanted a meal out. Found this excellent pub situated by a river with easy parking. Top notch friendly service staff were really kind to everyone including my little 2-year old. Great food. Local ale on tap. Will go again.
My wife and I stayed for two nights whilst visiting my daughter. The location is spectacular, in a wooded valley right alongside a lovely stream. The food was incredible, some of the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Pembrokeshire in a while. Perfect presentation. Beautiful dining space: although the chairs and bench would benefit from cushions.

One of my family's favourite places to eat and we always try and visit when in the area. The location is spectacular; if it's warm enough, we love sitting outside alongside the river and watching the bats swoop over the water as dusk falls.

Lovely visit with family. Small menu. Nice food. Few errors with our order but these were put right.... eventually.
Staff were really friendly and plenty of them which was nice as they all seemed happy. I'd probably choose to go have a beer and bowl of chips in the garden next time

Great place with a nice outside garden area next to the river.

Wow! What a lovely country pub! Exceptional food, fantastic portion size and a cosy atmosphere. If I visit this part of Wales again, I'll be sure to come back! The cod and chips was incredible.
Staff were great very attentive. Lovely decor and nice and clean also nice touch of small sweets and drinks within the room.
Breakfast was so good and dinner was also lovely.
A great stay
Being local to the Nags Head it has become our staple go to pub. Good food, good service and a good choice of local beer. Come rain or shine it offers great outdoor seating and a cosy fireplace.
