Can't advise on rooms as I live locally, but new owners are very accommodating and are building a great atmosphere

Only had a coffee as the kitchen was closed but it was a nice environment and the coffee was decent.

Visited here for breakfast on a Friday. The bar is clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. A great selection of ales, lagers etc. Very friendly owners and staff. It has a beautiful looking, cosy interior too. I don't know what the rooms are like because I live in Aberaeron and have no need to stay in the hotel part.

Good bar food, a real ale available on hand pull, and leffe on draught - nice! I can recommend the beef Madras, comes with rice, small naan and mango chutney. The fish and chips looked good too. NOTE edited to point out that in Winter (September), food is not served in the evening.
