This is a modern and stylish looking restaurant / fish & chips shop / ice cream shop! It's clean and possibly one of the nicest shops I have visited during my travels in the UK.
I purchased 1 large cod & chips that was supplied in a nice box and cost just over £10. Both the cod & chips were ok, however being an honest reviewer I cannot say they were the best fish & chips I have ever had, but they were certainly good. The cod wasn't as chunky or white as some I've had, the chips were a little dried up and varied in size, and the batter was not as crispy as some.
But if you are in the area this is a very nice place to eat 😃
We decided to come in here as we fancied a more relaxed environment and it was just that. The food was soooo good and the portion size was great. You could tell everything was cooked fresh and the chicken nuggets were made and not cooked from frozen. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff were friendly and attentive
Went in for Pizza's and Fish & Chips to takeaway.
All food was cooked to perfection and only a short wait.
The pizza was amazing, stone baked with fresh ingredients. Non of the food was greasy at all.
Fish & Chips was cooked perfect and tasted great.
Highly recommended to eat in or takeaway if you are staying locally.
The food is great.
The service is very good.
Although there are a few sets of steps, the staff are more than happy to put out a temporary ramp down for wheelchair access to the inside tables.
They had a separate printed out menu with all of their vegan dishes.
Just a side note, the loos are not wheelchair accessible.
Amazing fish and chips and even better they were allergen friendly for my nut allergy son. The fish batter was may contain and they then offered to grill my son a separate fish. Honestly so grateful as so many places just do not offer an alternative. The seafood box was also very tasty.
Quickly at a good price. Everything was hot and perfectly cooked.

The fish was beautifully cooked, the batter was lovely. The young lady that served us was a credit to The New Celtic Restaurant so polite and helpful . We had a table over looking the beautiful Aberaeron harbour.
It was a lovely place to go and would highly recommend.
Been coming back to this place since 2004. Never fails to impress. Great food, friendly staff and lovely family atmosphere. We had the cod and chips and it is fantastic. Finished up with some desserts. Cracking family restaurant, a must if you are in the area.
We come here every year during our holiday and the fish and chips are always fantastic. We can also recommend the curry with 'half and half' chips and rice. Friendly and efficient staff are always on hand to look after us. Highly recommended.
We had fish and chips to take away from the new celtic. The chips and fish were lovely but a large portion of chips was a bit on the small side!
It's good that it doesn't come wrapped up in paper but in a cardboard take away box. Very nice fresh fish and chips.
